Design Your Own Art Project
For my Design Your Own Art project I chose to create two different slideshows. One slideshow would be my before slideshow showing my photography skills before the project and the second slideshow would be my photography skills after the project. The point of this was to show how much I had grown throughout the project. During this project I learned a lot of things that a photographer needs to know, such as the basics, lighting, and different angles. This project helped me figure out how to become certified as a photographer so that in the future I could possibly pursue a career in photography. After a few weeks of researching I took all of my knowledge and put it to the test. I ended up taking a great amount of pictures but I was only confident with a few of them. The pictures that you see in my “Further Improved Photography Skills” slide show are the pictures that reflect my work and learning from this project.
Something I have always been passionate about was photography. I don’t know what it is but it always makes me feel really good when I have taken a great picture because I love getting to say “I did that” or “I took that picture”. Taking pictures is very relaxing for me and it is one of my biggest outlets that I have. I have always struggled with anxiety and one of the ways I deal with it is by taking pictures. I always wonder what my job will be in the future and I know I want to do something that I love and will make working fun so I started looking at different options and I came to find out that you can make a lot of money taking pictures for weddings, birthdays and other events. The reason I chose to do this for my project is because it will not only give me the opportunity to research more about my dream job but it worked as a perfect excuse for my Create Your Own Art project.

At the beginning of the semester I didn't know how to do that much in Photoshop. As I did the teacher creature project I learned how to use at least 4 or more tools in Adobe Photoshop. I think that I have grown in my Digital Arts class and in the future I will be able to do other Digital Arts projects much easier now that I have more knowledge.
